Casement and Awning Windows differ from other replacement windows in that they provide a single lite design that offers a fuller view of the outdoors. These specially engineered windows eliminate virtually eliminate all air infiltration with strategically placed weather stripping positioned so that when the wind blows harder, the window seals tighter. Casements and Awnings feature smooth operating hardware and a mulit-point locking system that provides added security. Additionally, casements open a full 90 degrees for more ventilation. Special hardware is also available to provide more egress friendly sizes where required by the city code. Casements and Awnings come standard with decorative frames, 7/8” sealed double strength glass, Super Spacer™, full screens, heavy duty weather stripping, and sturdy all welded frame and sash. Optional features include egress hardware, foam filled frames, Low-E glass with argon or krypton glass, triple panes, and colonial or premium heritage grids.
